Guided Tour Of King’s Cross

Date/Time: 15/05/2019 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Places Remaining: 18

Our friendly Visitor Centre offers free guided tours around the public areas of the King’s Cross development starting with a short talk around our model about the history of the 67 acre site, which was an underused industrial wasteland and is being transformed into a new part of the city with homes, shops, offices, galleries, bars, restaurants, schools and even a university. It’s a whole new piece of London with a new postcode – N1C.
On the tour you will learn about and see
• The History of the Goods Yard
• Buildings from the industrial era that are now being refurbished and reused.
• 50 new buildings
• 26 acres of open spaces
• Community
• Homes at Kings Cross
• Sustainability and urban development
• Mixed use development
• Estate Management
But the mix at King’s Cross isn’t just about what goes on in the buildings. There’s also a mix of people, of built space and open space, of the old and the new. All these things come together at King’s Cross to make a diverse, dynamic and successful community – a vibrant place that’s alive with people seven days a week.
